1. In your experience, what is the purpose of a conference? The purpose of a conference is to learn - through instruction or actually doing. It is also a place for networking and connecting to those who have the same passion/interests.

2. In your field, is it typical to deliver Poster Presentations or Oral Presentations? Both. We usually sit for a workshop and then create/practice.

   1. In your field, do panelists typically read papers or speak without notes? Both...I prefer speaking without notes

3. In your experience, what is the responsibility of an audience member? To pay attention and ask provoking questions that relates to the material being presented.

4. How would you describe your presentation persona? (or What is an effective presentation persona?) Swag - confidence. Know your stuff!

5. How do you handle performance anxiety? Listen to rap music that pretty much says that you are the *!

6. How do you 'network'? Social media, through conferences, in person events, gallery hoping...etc.

7. Any tips you normally give to first-time goers? Have fun. First time - don't present, just go to see and experience.
